Solar Power GrantsSolar power grants are available for householders who are investing in generating your own heating or electricity. This can be either by solar photovoltaic or solar hot water. For further information on grants available in your country look at the list below:
Solar Grants UKGrants in the UK are available for up to £2500 per property which can be used towards the cost of producing your own renewable energy. It is run by the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. There is a Process for applying for solar grants UK.Grants may also be available from your energy supplier, you can call the local advice line on 0800 512 012 for further information.
Solar grants ScotlandSolar Grants in Scotland are available for up to 30% of the installation to a maximum amount of £4000. The scheme is run by Energy Saving Trust Scotland.
Solar Grants Northern IrelandNorthern Ireland Grants are also available from the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. Additional grants are available further details can be found NIE Energy Limited.
Incentives for USThere are many different incentives in the US for installing renewable energy. Full information on Federal, State and Local incentives can be found on the Database of State Incentives fro Renewable and Efficiency (DSIRE).
Grants CanadaYou will need to hire the services of a certified energy advisor to be able to apply for a grant. The scheme is run by Natural Resources Canada.
